Valentine’s Day, a holiday filled with love and money. But, how do the Gonzaga students feel about the random holiday? Well, most find it overly commercialized, just like Christmas, adding financial stress on a holiday that doesn’t really need it. Some students think that it makes a rather personal or private matter into a much larger public one. It comes down to a contest between who’s experience between couples was the most expensive or showy on Valentine’s Day. One student even believes that love is a social construct, an interesting thought from a business major student. Not all students have a specific tradition, considering they are college students, and find that most traditions would be made with someone on a more intimate level in the future.
