Clickbait is the absolute worst. Honestly it is beyond evident in Youtube and I think that’s where you can find it the most outside of useless little ads on a website. I cannot explain how many times I have clicked on a YouTube video based on the title and it turned out to be nothing of the sorts. Most of the time, the video title sounds extravagant and extreme which usually peaks my interest when I get sick of Netflix or Hulu. Turns out when you keep watching that video, it’s rather boring, elongated story that circles around a point of nothing. At first I couldn’t find the exact picture I wanted to use to demonstrate the most frustrating clickbait out there. I stumbled across this meme on Pinterest and knew it was perfect. It’s almost like a step by step but backwards of what goes on in brain when falling into a clickbait video.
